Drawing Like When You Where a Child

This is very hard to do.  Sometimes I'm in the right mood and can at least start, like one evening last week.  The first image below was sort-of without the art training, but with the other three (images below) the adult knowledge got largely back in control - knowledge of anatomy, of form, of shading.

They're all still fun, but not what I'm after.  I plan to keep trying.  I can't get where I'm going on the page without this, so I have to keep at it.  I'm going to need to move like a partnership between my inner child and my inner artist, handing the drawing and painting tools back and forth.
