The Sun's Last Dance
In my dream I had put on the Sun’s wings. She caught me dancing circles, dragging the tips on the ground. I took them off… We both pretended we were not angry.
Each day she spreads her wings one last time, bows her head low to make the eagle, then night.
Watercolor sketch from a dream - non-dominant hand drawing with orange watercolor pigment and quill pen followed by brushwork. Approx. 10 x 13 inches, on Blick Studio 140 lb watercolor paper.
