The Fool (Again)
This seems to be a recurring theme. The image began with blind non-dominant hand scrawls in orange ink and emerged from there into this obvious reference to the Fool in the iconic Pamela Colman Smith Tarot. I would say this is more self-portrait than most of my previous fools and jesters. And at various points in my life I would have said I was the sort to pull things up by the roots rather than “picking” them.
Below are the stages I captured from the process of discovering this image.
The last one (below) was the first - the initial “scrawl” which suggested the image. The random left handed scribbles are not usually this suggestive.
