Wild Ride

This was fun and freeing to create; I let things go more than usual.  The faces, antlers and headgear were all found shapes in a box of cut pieces I had from another project.  They were glued onto this surface and then the figures blocked in without fuss.

Approx. 20 x 28 inches - mixed media, acrylic, and collage.  I drew/painted freely on one side of a big sheet of Strathmore drawing paper, then the flowers were drawn on the other side, just outlines, and cut out with scissors.  Then I placed and glued them down (with acrylic gel medium below and on top) onto the bottom half of this painting, which already had the reindeer and the two riders.
