Masculinity

This drawing appeared, as usual, from a heap of random lines. As it emerged, so did the message. While I understand the term "toxic masculinity" and I have seen plenty of the damage done by that force in my own life and even more in the lives of others, I believe terms like this can become blunt instruments, used like weapons rather than like lights to illuminate. And we need the illumination, and the sensitivity of probing fingers looking for the roots of the problem, because, like roots, the very deepest parts of problems are often small and wedged in the narrowest places.
