Maquettes - Finding Critters

I’ve been looking for unexpected critters by using paper shapes and arranging them as maquettes. I start with a blind drop of shapes onto the page, see what looks interesting, and let things progress from there. Once I’m done with one I photograph it, pick up the shapes, and start over. It’s a bit like reading tea leaves, or seeing things in clouds.
